Invitation for summer Course in Jain Philosophy (Mon., 19th April - Sat., 8th May 2010)

Buddhism and Jainism have a lot in common as they are two branches of the same Sramana tradition of Indian philosophy and religion and both have much to share and learn from each other. We complement and supplement each other and hence it is imperative that we start this study and dialog to further strengthen the cultural and educational ties between Thailand and India.

•  Sat.and Sun.June 26-27,  a group of students from Maryland led by prof.John Schroder will be attending Classes on Buddhism, Buddhism and gender issue. If you are interested on the topic you are most welcome to attend. You can also join in as volunteers to help support the residents to take care of the group. • Sat.June 19 Ven.Dhammananda will be giving a talk on Structural Violence by the state, how to solve it Buddhist way.
• time 9.25 AM, Venue Suan Ngern Mee Ma in Thonburi. 
• A short report to keep you up with our preparation to distribute rice to people in Khlong Tuey area on July 17. Khun Pichaya has volunteered to come up with 500 cotton bags for 3kg. of rice for distribution.
